If it's something that you can only benefit from, what's the problem? A lot of people get much better looking after they fix their teeth. Not to mention, the care that's put into teeth in order to get braces, is something that will keep your teeth strong and attractive for the rest of your life. I say go for it. If I needed them, I certainly would get them.

I'd start suggesting u look 4 a new boyfriend. Looks to me like he doesn't really love u the way u r. Next he'll be telling u to go to the gym cuz ur too fat or get implants cuz ur chest is too small. tell him how dare he criticize ur appearance-I'd kick his *** to the curb sister.Chances are , if he's looking for flaws in u he's probably comparing u to other women that he is more attracted to and will eventually cheat on u anyway. Time to say HASTA LA VISTA BABY!

well take the advice of your dentist/orthodontist. then will tell you if your teeth need to be straight. There may be a alternative way to fix the teeth then metal braces--so if you need them find all options before you pick what right for you.
my advice if money allows it opt for non metal braces--they can be painful to adjust, put on/off and all that goes with it.

I think you should ask your self if you want to change your self for a guy, and you should ask your self if you want braces for you own good or for something else??? i don't know you but this is what i can tell you from the info you gave

does your boyfriend understand that braces=no head? if he is willing to give up BJ's for more then a year then he probably really thinks they are for the best. Good for him.

o.k heres the thing you are your own person and it is all how you feel. if you want them then fine . BUT not b/c your boyfriend said to get them. never do something for someone else if it has to do with your body. you hold the key to that one hun. only you can make up your mind really.

I guess your boyfriend has some concerns about your appearance. I would get the opinion of others who you respect and then, perhaps see a dentist or orthodontist.

What does your orthodontist say? Who do you suppose should pay for these braces? Tell your boyfriend to shove it.
