It seriously is not my fault. I have spoken with all the administrators, counslers, and the principal of the school. The teacher spends most of the time yelling at my class and its not only my class its all of his classes. When he does teach he only gives us answers and doesn't explain anything. When I ask he ends up yelling the answer.I cannot do anything about it. My birthday is next week and I promised myself not to do anything, because I failed the class and my parents find it extremely weird that I do nothing. They are the parents that have high hopes for me and to crush everything for them it crushes me. Anytime I build up the courage I just end up crying how can I tell them? Please no comments about you should have done better.I spend up to 5hours studying for that class and barely sleep I thought the teacher was supposed to teach?

I have told them that the teacher does that. The have spoken with the principal he will not do anything. They refuse to change my class. I am pretty much hopeless. I am in Middle school it is my first failing grade ever. I find it not fair.

I am one of the most behaved student that the teacher has. He will not do any appt because he doesn't want to and the class is completely terrible.

i was just like you, its not fair that we have to be stuck with a teacher who doesnt even do their job. i suffered the same expeirnece with two math teachers, in the 11th grade, i had woman, very nice looking but she had the biggest fits! seriously, she slammed things down and yelled at us when we asked her for help, i remember one time she said,
"geez you guys act like you never done this before!!!" and one student lashed back and said,
"you act like you never taught before!!" it was her first year too. she said come to her for help but everytime we did she said,'
"i JUST explain that!! go look in your notes!!" then she woudl get mad if we turn to each other for help. she was undependable.

but in 12th grade it was way worse, i failed every test and homework assignments i got, i cried almost everyday, help was no avaiable, seemed like the teacher didnt even care, i went down to the assitant principle, cried and begged her to put me in another class, for some reason that was impossible. the reason i'm telling you this is becuase some people feel alone in this, when in reality its happening all the time and schools are too stupid to recognize that.

you just tell them, there is no other way or HOWS. you just tell them, one they will either believe you or second they wont, you can't hide a failing class.

Perhaps your parents will help you by discussing this with the teacher? Make an appt to all discuss what you are dong
'wrong'. I am not saying you are doing anything at all wrong. But I am saying is that this is making a statement to the teacher that you are serious and perhaps if more students did that it would work better? Then, after trying that, go to the counselor and demand a transfer from any teacher in the future that is not teaching.

First off, it appears you did not fail, the teacher and administration as a whole are failing. It is admirable that you desire to achieve not only for yourself but because you love your parents and respect that they have high hopes for you. In this situation, it is going to take a family effort to get a resolution. This matter is out of your hand. If you are in middle school, or high school, your parents should be speaking to the counselors, principals, and administration. As a child (student this is not your job). For what is sounds like you are studying diligently and begging for an understanding and yes, that is the teacher's job. I implore you to confess to your parents not that you are failing but that your are not getting an understanding in this class that is hindering your academic performance. Explain to them the time you are devoting to this subject and you efforts to address your concern with the teacher etc...surely your parents will pick it up form there and schedule a confernce with this teacher and put her on notice that she is there to teach and that they value your education and want to partner with her as an educator to ensure your academic success. You are not a failure. You are intelligent, your are resourceful, you are prudent about your studies and respectful of your praents hopes for your which are also your own. Hope and pray for a better tomorrow but know, you are not a failure, you are a success. Trust your parents and communicate this to them today. You will have good success.

Tell them everything you said here. But they might want to know why you didnt tell them sooner about the problem in the class. Im wondering that too. If you had they could have intervened and have you removed to a class with a better teacher.
Ask them to talk to the principal and counselor and find out why they let someone like that teach classes.

Tell your parents you are failing the class. You should have been talking to them all along, so they could have been helping you through this. If the teacher is that bad then they could have gone and talked to the principal and got you switched to another class. I think there is more to the story.

if this is your first failing grade, then whats the problem? your parents should go to that teacher, and ask him if you behave, and then they will belive you that it is not your fault. and if you studied so hard out of a book, shouldnt you get a good grade because the teacher teaches out of a book?

Please tell your parents now. Never hold back - parents get mad when lied to, and not telling them important things is just like not telling the truth. Be honest, tell them, and then see if they can help you either bring your grades up or get transferred to another teacher's class.
