The Ozark National Forest, The Fort Chaffee Wildlife Management Area, The Whiterock Wildlife Management Area, The Muddy Creek Wildlife Management Area and various other areas in northwest and western Arkansas.
Our deer population is on par with anywhere else in the region and we do have some big bucks. The areas I hunt are mostly forested and some areas bordering private farmland.

Macomb County, Michigan (SE)
The terrain is pretty flat, we hunt woods between corn, soybean, and winter wheat fields. Thick creek bottoms. I had a small six and two nice eight points pass near my tree last night, in the rain. But, no shot.

Florida. Most of the deer are small around here compared to up north. It is very thick woods with lots of undergrowth. Last deer season we had a warm period, and the deer were not moving at all during the day.
