It's not too late, but now that you have waited, it will involve putting him under general anesthesia. My aunt adopted a newborn, but the birth mother didn't know whether to circumcize him or not, and by the time everything was signed off on, he was twelve days old and the doctors wouldn't do it without general anesthesia. He is now almost eight and uncircumcized. He's had no complications from not being circumcized.

A teacher that I know adopted their son from over seas and when they got him he was un circumcized and they did it at about that age and he is fine now I was just wondering what is your reasoning for wanting to do it now?

No it's definitely not too late for him to be circumsized. It is always better at birth because it does not have them irritated as much. One of my boys did not get circumsized unti he was in middle school because I had difficulty finding a doctor that would circumsize him in my area. Your little one is still small so go ahead while he's little. He will appreciate you for it later. He may not tell you but he will appreciate it.

No, it's not to late... It's something that you will have to talk with your dr. about. I know of someone who was circumcized as an adult due to issues.

why don't you leave him alone? He WILL NOT appreciate you for doing it- ask any uncut man! The only ones that say it's a good thing are the ones who were done as babies and don't know the difference. There's not a medical reason for doing it and IMO I think it's elective surgery that is being done against someone's will- I know I would be a little upset if I found out that my parents did something irreversible to me without my permission!

Never too late. The earlier the better so if you plan on doing it then talk to his doctor soon.

It should have been done at birth. Is it for religious reasons or does he need it? I would wait until he's old enough to understand now.
