yeah . would the body be recognisable? In the 1930 s where dna testing was unavailable, how can u recognise a body from a 50 story high fall? would the face be recognisable?

Yes, I think it would be recognizable, but it would depend on the way the person landed. There is a famous picture of a woman who jumped from a skyscraper laying on the roof of a car. The roof is crushed around her body from the impact, but her face is intact and perfectly recognizable.

If the face is severally injured, you might be able to identify the body with dental records, x-rays, clothing, birthmarks, and Identification carried.

My uncle who was a paratrooper in WW II said people turned into a bag of broken pieces. I presume the face was recognizable if the faller did not land on his head. Impact speed for the cases he mentioned would be around 120 MPH, or terminal velocity for a free-falling human.

depends if he hit face first. you would probably have to use fingerprints or dental records to identify
