Bitcomet Download Speed?

Hi how can i speed up my torrents on bitcomet coz my average download speed is 3.5mb but only getting bout 5kb on bitcomet downloads. and does anybody know where i can download bt engine to try and speed them up as well

Your download speed is only as fast as the other people uploading. Check to make sure your torrent is seeded well. If it is and you are still getting a low rate, check to make sure you do not have bandwidth limitations on your application.

I have similar issues. I should have over 10mb connectivity but often see it functioning at 5 ks. I have been tweaking various things but have found that when something that seems to work at one time (300+ks a few times) will change sigificantly later. I average around 45ks for most downloads.

The single thing that seems to work the best for me is to disconnect, reboot the computer and reconnect. Old threads seem to tie up my system somewhere between my provider and the software.

Also changing the file priority to Very High seems to help. I avoid multiple downloads unless I am going to bed or will be away from my computer for a long time.

I have downloaded a few attachements but so far I haven't found them very useful.

The two answerers above are right , but i changed from bitcomet to utorrent and i did get better speeds. Perhaps you should give it a try.

Your download speed for torrents vary based on how many people are seeding, and how fast their connection speed is. It doesn't have that much to do with your connection speed.
