A MINIMUM of 3.00 preferably 5.00 remeber, when you're in a restaurant you tip the waitress 15-20 percent. All she does is walk from the kitchen to your table, period. The pizza guy drives his car, uses his gas and brings the pizza all the way from the restaurant to your door.

A standard tip is 10% so if the bill was $10 you would give a tip of $1.60. I would probably just give $2 so they don't have to worry about change, unless you have exact change. It is totally up to you as an individual. I know someone who never gives more than $1 for pizza delivery. It is up to you.

I always tip well, $4 say, maybe $5. Have you seen the price of gas these days? It's not like they're given a company car to drive, they're driving their own car and using their own gas. Besides, if you order from one place all the time, and are cheap, you don't know what they' will do to it en route. Same reason I'm nice to the wait staff at the restaurant.

depends on how fast the got there and how much your ordered. 2.00 is standard for a normal $20 or less order. If they do extra things. For example when I was on cruthes a lot of delivery men would bring the pizza inside for me and set it up. I gave them a bigger tip than the one's who saw me on crutches and didn't even offer to help.

I always just tip a $5 bill regardless. It's substaintive enough, yet not too much or too little.

20%. Unfortunatly....when you call...you get a delivery charge added...you think that is your tip....wrong....it's not. In too many cases that delivery charge goes to the pizza joint....not to the driver. Heads up....pick up your own pizza if you want to save. Don't expect the delivery driver to pay for your laziness. Many of these drivers....are not on a payroll....they are contract drivers. They pay for their own insurance.....they don't get unemployment...SS...or anything else. If they are creamed or robbed or anything else....it's all on them.....the company they drive for isn't in the pic.
The company doesn't know a thing about you. This also goes for the "delivery man" from Sears...the dry cleaner drop off.....you would be shocked as to how this has changed.

I'm probably the exception here, but I always try to tip them at least $10 - regardless of the cost of the delivery. I base that on what it's worth to me to not have to go out, not what the bill comes to...

I usually tip $2-$4, depending on their friendliness and the bill total.

I always tip at least 4 bucks. These people are not just delivering to your table, they are using their own cars and taking the food right to your door so you don't have to leave your house.
