In the book of Revelation He that sat on the white horse is holding a bow. The key is bow. If you do a study on the word bow and trace it back to Greek roots, you will find that it is not your typical "bow" and arrow. After gathering all the information that I could from multiple concordances and Greek Bible dictionaries, I have found out that this bow is a cloth. More specifically a cloth of deliverance.

Could this be Christ?

Please do not downplay this or give an answer with presupposition.

I understand where you gained this understanding...
G5115, which comes from G5088(Strong's numbering).
This cannot be Messiah, as He is the one who breaks that seal. If we go with just this, it would appear the horse goes forth bearing something in a cloth. I end up picturing the world's idea of a 'stork' with a baby in its beak. That is not exactly the understanding given to me, though. This person on the white horse is bringing 'religions' to the world, i.e. COVENANTS. God gave Noah a 'bow' as a covenant to never flood the earth again. Same principal.
If you want an understanding of this, read Zechariah 5 and 6. Revelation 5 and 6 are identical, and when you combine them, you will gain understanding. The horsemen go in different directions(N,S,E,W)from JERUSALEM. The white one goes WEST, all the way to the U.S., where we have multiple 'religions' conquering the people.
It is good that you are digging for the truth. Keep at it.

Unfortunately, I am not well versed on Revelations and there is still a lot that I don't understand. Some say that the white horse is the Antichrist. That he will appear to be a good guy. He will be appealing to folks and people will actually believe that he is Christ because he will perform great works. But he will be a false Christ, an imitation of Christ and people will be deceived into believing that he is Christ.

No, that’s satan in his role as antichrist. He’s a cheap imitation of the real Christ.

Sad, but scriptural, most will think antichrist is Christ, including many Christians. Rapture, rapture, rapture right into satan’s arms. When Christ returns, 7th trump, those folks will realize that they've been had and wish the mountains would fall on them.

Wouldn't a bow be a lot handier than a cloth in a war situation? Is he going to wipe somebody down? I seriously doubt what you are saying is true.
Anyway I thought the guy on the white horse was Gandalf.
