It's the inability to accept differences that causes all hate in the first place. I'm not sure why you singled out Christianity, but most religions are intolerant of different sects. Ever heard of Shiites and Sunnis?

First Christianity isn't a cult ( I get to come home after church, I don't give every penny I earn to the preacher, I don't follow the preacher, which what a cult does) second Christianity does not teach hate, it teaches love. It's like slavery I can't help what misguided people did before me. So don't generalized me. You wouldn't like it would you?

No, it is the teaching of man in general. And Christianity is not a cult. Catholics are the most arrogant and the mopst hate-filled and hateful. I attended Catholic schools and can attest to the arrogance of the religion. If any religion can be defined as a cult it is Mormonism. Unfortunately hate is not confined only to differing factions of Christianity, it is also alive and well on these boards as evidenced by people like yourself.

fortuitously it might seem that the worries in eire are fairly plenty over. i do no longer think that church homes practice their congregations to hate one yet another, and that in the time of spite of the indisputable fact that erroneous Christians must be the easy teachings attributed to Jesus are non violent. in the 1st occasion Henry VIII's Protestants have been sent over to start colonies in eire and convert and push out the Catholics, ensuing in feuds, resentment and land battles that have long previous on up till modern-day situations. fortunately in the united kingdom some distance much less value is now given to faith and no person somewhat cares in spite of in case you're protestant, catholic, or in spite of. the reason of the resentment has evapourated and long previous.

It's what people do. It's human nature to fear differences. And I don't know why. But it is not a Christian teaching.
And this could have been a really good question without that last bit.

I find that Christians, on the whole, get along very well right across the denominations. Define cults from your perspective.

Christians do recognise cults, as they are man made.
