Interesting question, because it leaves out so much context that it's open to all kinds of interpretation.
Many people in my life tell me I'm a "good person". But this always makes me vaguely uncomfortable, because a) I'm not dead yet, so any judgement is on an incomplete life and so can't be entirely valid, and b) I don't know who they're judging against.
Personally, while I love my family and friends and try to stand by certain things that make up my moral code, all of which shoudl probably make me a "good person", I reserve the right to respond to the animal inside me, the darkness, and the perverse ability we all have to cause pain to those we love - to be a "bad person".
But whether, in the final analysis, I'm a good or bad person, I am what I am, and no god or demon will sway me one way or another. Only then can I look at myself in the mirror and truly "own" my own nature.

The only truly good person who ever lived was/is Christ. That's why we need him-we need a savior. Without him we are all bad.
That doesn't mean we are 100 percent evil-only Satan is that. But since God cannot tolerate sin in heaven, we need to be made 100 percent good before we can get there-and that is through trusting in the death and resurrection of Christ.

Should no one play a role as BAD guy then there will be no role for HERO in a film.
Without PHARAOH play his role as BAD GUY then MOSES could not play his role as SAVIOUR.
Even Lucifer never wish to have his role but he had to play the role.
I will play my role as I am as BAD and GOOD is me.
BAD for you may be GOOD for others. For example Saddam Hussein considered a BAD GUY for certain individual or groups but Saddam was a HERO for another group.
By the time Saddam KILLING hundred thousands of Iranian he was considered HERO of Arab world and he even get a full support from Washington Administration. So what turns Saddam to be a BAD GUY after KILLING thousands of Turks ???
If KILLING considered BAD then we all had to accept the reality that some time we need the BAD thing in our life. Therefore Saddam was hanged.
Another example, RAINING DAY considered as BAD WEATHER where as SHINNING DAY considered GOOD WEATHER. The world is no longer suitable place for all kind of life should we want to experience GOOD WEATHER every day.

I'm a sinner if that is what you mean, we all are. Just because we are sinners doesn't mean we are bad people.
Since we are all sinners a bad person is someone who is TRYING to be bad means a person does evil and tries not to do good and a good person is TRYING to be good and tries not to do evil.
According to my logic you don't have to be a bad person. being a bad person is a choice so is being a good person.
Choose to be a good person, you'll be happier.
A feeble attempt to explain but I think that God will help you understand what I mean, if you ask him in the name of Jesus.

Hi yay.
God loves you very much. He will forgive you for your sins as he has promised in 1 John 1:9. We are all sinners saved by God's grace.

I am a person who has sinned against other people and against God! But God sent His son, Jesus to pay the price for my awful sins and wash away my sins, and the penalty for my sins! I am forgiven by grace and not by anything I have done. If anyone accepts the atonement sacrifice of Christ, their sins are forgiven and not held against them! The Bible says that ALL fall short! There is no person who does not sin. This is why we need our Savior Jesus, who took our sins and paid the penalty for our sins! Just as I was, I went to the cross of salvation and my sins were atoned for by the blood of The Lamb Of God who took away the sins of the world! Like my grandma used to sing, "what can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus!" Once one is washed clean, their sins are no longer remembered nor held against them. Christ changes the bad inclinations of ones heart and you are a new creature! This is what is refered to as being "born again".

No I am not - quite the opposite actually.
You say that you HAVE to be a bad person..that makes no sense to me. Nobody HAS to be anything, I know this probably better than anyone. You can CHOOSE to be a good person.
ps god has nothing to do with it

Nope.
I'm not perfect but that doesn't make me bad.
I wouldn't send back a plate of tiramisu just because the chef let a single grain of salt too much fall into the batter for the lady fingers. It'll still taste QUITE good drizzled with Kahlua and shoveled into my awaiting gullet!

No, I am not a bad person. For those who say Jesus said there are none good but the Father they are wrong. The question was brought up when Jesus was called good Master. Jesus said there is none good (Master) but God.
God is the only good Master, but there are many good men.

I love Gandalf's answer.
Well, I try not to be... I don't like to be... Sometimes I have to be... I sometimes can say mean things to hurt someone, especially if I am pissed of. I don't mean this is right, but I just do it...
We are not perfect, that's what everybody says and we know that. Therefore, our lack of perfection makes us all perfect, because if one is perfect, this one would be the odd, right?
Peace!
