If you're not mature enough to handle a relationship with a man who has children without constantly thinking something is going on with the mother-- do everyone involved a favor and stick to childless boyfriends.

I would wonder why it would be too late to drive home from a party with a 14 year old son unless it was a long way off, there was drinking involved and he wouldn't be able to drive after the party and what kind of party this was. You perhaps do not have to worry but I would still wonder if this guy is ready for another relationship or still trying to solve the problems of that one.
I wouldn't say anything but simply consider that Strike One!

I think that this issomething that you will HAVE to get used to if you are going to be involved with this man. I admire a man who takes the time to spend with his child and who has built a friendly relationship with his mother. He IS doing the right thing . . . if you don't want to accept this - perhaps this is not the right man for you?
