Yes I want the laws enforced--all of them. At the same time. I blame the US govt, the Mexican (and Honduran and Guatamalan..) govts, the US employers and all 20 million illegals equally.
Al must own 100% of their own part in this equation.

Where do I begin? Businesses play a big part in the immigration problem. So do bleading hearts. and anything and everything having to do with money has a part in the immigration problem. Most of the answers made sense.
Yes, I hope that all our laws will be obeyed one day and that the illegal immigration issue also, hopefully in a way that does not cost us too many lives of our soldiers.
So what if the price of everything goes up as long as I can be safe in my own home.,town, county, state, country.
Money is the reason nothing has been solved and prejudice too.

That is exactly the problem. Businesses need to be fined for hiring illegals. I get tired of hearing that they are the only ones that will do that type of work. That is not true! If the farmers were forced to pay a decent wage, they would be able to find enough legal people to work for them. Of course our prices will rise because of this, but I personally would be willing to pay more at the store in order for the immigration laws to be enforced.

States don't have the constitutional right to supersede the federal government on issues of immigration. That is because the 13th and 14th amendments, passed after the Civil War, nullified the 10th amendment in effect. Welcome to the post Civil War world. This is not something new with President Obama's administration. This has been the law of the land since the late 1860s.

I think it is going to take the AMERICAN CITIZENS taking a stand against ILLEGAL INVADERS to make anything happen.
A revolution of sorts. The Constitution states that we have the right to protect our country against INVADERS. It also says we have the right to bear arms and to form a militia to protect our country. Maybe it is time we as CITIZENS did this. Maybe we need to show our government that we are not going to be pushed around and abused by them or these ILLEGALS any longer! It seems that our own government is not interest in upholding the laws of our nation, maybe we are going to have to make it happen!

I do wish it would happen. I have heard in some parts of the country it is illegal to rent to illegal immigrants, perhaps if there was a no hire policy and a no rent policy and fines were imposed, there would be less problems

I wish and hope that one day immigration, while certainly remaining completely acceptable, will also be completely unnecessary because life in all countries will be comparably easy and enjoyable. As far as enforcing immigration laws, I do have some sympathy for farmers who rely on the migrant farm workers. It's a very complex problem. If the government really cracked down hard on illegal immigrants, we would probably see a major price jump in milk, produce, almost everything eventually.

Yes, the laws should be enforced. Since I have to obey the laws or pay the fine or go to jail, then other people should have to also obey the laws. They don't get off the hook just because they are here illegally.

Who told you they don't give ICA to injured workers that may or may not be illegal? That is a crock, the only one I ever saw that tried that was forced to pay because the injured worker got an attorney. Give the businesses a fair way to employ the workers of their choice and things may change.

But don't you know, it's our job as American Citizens to make life better for the rest of the world so they can all show up on our doorsteps and outnumber us.
There is an unlimited supply of illegals from Mexico who are willing to earn those next-to-nothing wages because they know how to bleed our social services systems.
Our tax dollars are stolen from us to support bloodsuckers from other countries.
