suv that gets good gas mileage?

Question

I was thinking about getting a Mercedez-Benz m-class or a Lexus RX 330. Is there anything similar that gets good gas mileage?

The Ford Hybrid Escape is the most fuel efficient SUV on the planet!
Even better than the Saturn Vue Greenline because the Escape is "Full" hybrid ... & the Vue is "mild" hybrid

SUV that get good gas mileage? No. The closest you'll find is when the Saturn Vue hybrid comes out. SUV stands for stupid, useless vehicle. If you absolutely need all / four wheel drive, buy a Subaru or a Caravan. Both get far better mileage than any Lexus or Benz. If you want the SUV for winter driving, don't bother. Just put studded snow grips on and keep your feet off the brakes and downshift. I used to live in the snowbelt of Ohio and the only time I ever got stuck in the snow with my Pinto was in the parking lot of my apartment, and then only because there was a pothole. I was going even when the bus service shut down because of snow.

Hello Andrea, I certainly understand wanting to feel safe in a vehicle. Being you're looking for SUVs, perhaps the Chevy Eqinox would be a good fit for you.
