Unless you are in a private school you most definatly have the right to challenge this. If you are in a private school you probably have to just deal with it.
And actually upon further thought Christian crosses would not be allowed under that policy. The cross is a reference to death in the Jesus died on the cross.

If you attend a public school, it should be allowed. It sounds like you go to a Christian school from what you have described. If you wanted to, you could fight for your rights. The law is on your side--Wicca is recognized as a religion, legally. And there's also Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Worship--this is all assuming you are an American citizen. But remember, it doesn't make you any more or less Wiccan to wear a Pentacle bigger than your head or none at all. But if you insist, you could wear a small Pentagram (without the circle) or have it underneath your shirt. If they can't see it, they can't say anything about it. Just for the record, I think you're right in that everyone should be able to display their emblem of belief.

You have just as much right to wear a pentacle as a Christian has to wear a cross. Unfortunately, if you are determined to get the school to change it's policy you're probably going to need a lawyer.
They just had a big fight over whether the pentacle should be allowed on the tombstones of wiccans buried at arlington, you can always look up that and try to use it as precedence

It is wrong for a public institution to have a preference to one religion over another. If you are in a public school you can try to go to the school board and present Wicca as a nationally recognized religion and ask that they allow those symbols. If they flat out refuse, take it to the ACLU.
Otherwise, you can still have your beliefs whether or not narrow minded people allow you to wear your pentagram in school. No one can tell you what to believe, but unfortunately schools often do tell people what they can wear and say on school property.

Unfortunately dear the schools want to be politically correct which means they want to NOT offend the book religions. And I hate to say it but there are many out there who still look on Wicca as "Devil worship" (Christian invention that many still believe) and many people will not take the time to learn, but will jump on the wagon and say the same thing! I wear mine, but I wear it UNDER my clothes so that I don't hear about it, and so does my son. Still, when I am on the street I wear it out for all to see and have yet to have someone point to it and shout "Devil Worshiper!" they usually ask what it means and I will tell them I am a Wicca healer. Never had a problem with that. Good luck and Blessed Be!

If you want to go through the trouble, you can bring legal action against the school. Those sorts of dress codes have been ruled unconstitutional a number of times. You either allow all religious symbols in a public school or none. There is no middle ground. Period.

Actually you probably have a damn good case. Call the ACLU and see what they advise you to do. But pentagrams have been recognized by the military as a legitimate religion symbol and it is going to be hard for your school to say it isn't. So they either need to cut all religious references (which is problematic for several reasons) or allow yours.

Jesus said, "If anyone is not for me, he is against me." Therefore, you are automatically doing what satan wants you to do. You have rejected Jesus. That is much more of a concern than what you can and cannot wear to school.
Your religion cannot get you eternal life. Jesus said" I am the way, the truth and the life, the only way to the Father, is but through Me." If you do not know Jesus, you will not spend your future in Paradise, it will be exactly the opposite.
That is much more of a concern than what you can and cannot wear to school.

Well make a complaint to the school board, that's restriction of freedom of religion. Trust me, if you make a big enough fuss about it, they'll have to do something. If they allow crosses, they have to allow all other religious symbols.
Or just wear a pentagram anyway. If anyone tries to tell you to take it off, they'll probably let you wear it if you say it's a religious symbol.
