Quick change is an art. Focus on the top. the bottom can unfurl but the top is harder. It almost always gets smaller. The performer starts with everything layered except a few accessories. As each thing obstructs the view, the outer layer is torn away, sometimes letting the lower unfold or unravel.

Occasionally several new layers are pulled on top of a final lower layer during a bigger obstruction so that the act can continue.

Also notice how the obstruction is removed. The outer layer is usually removed with it, though occasionally pulled to the back of the artist waiting for the next change and obstruction for it to be removed.

Look closely.
