I know he wants to be with me also because you see we already live together and he tells me everyday how much he loves me and some times when I have herd him talking to people we don't know he calls me his wife instead of his girlfriend.

Flat out ask him where he sees your relationship going. Shacking up is a permanent choice for some people. I have been shacking up for 21 years and broke out laughing when he announced he was going to marry me without even asking me.

Actually it could be a bad sign that he already calls you his wife. He could be perfectly comfortable with the situation as it is. You live together and he calls you his wife but you actually aren't. Sure he might want to be with you, but it sounds like he's happy with the way things are and isn't looking to get married. You two are "playing house" so to speak. You shouldn't drop hints with him. This is a serious topic and needs to be spoken of openly. It sounds like you two want different things. He wants a live-in girlfriend without actually having to be officially committed to you and you want that commitment. You need to talk to him about this. Be open and ask him where you guys stand and where he sees you down the road. Does he see you married or is he happy leaving things as they are? You need to come out and say it.

look im sorry but most guys are kinda slow when it comes to hints so it will have to be a big one
like to the mall or some jewelry store and say something about engagement rings

you may need to ask him. or you can do what my friend did, and put a pic of the ring she wanted in his wallet lol. but that may scare him off if he's not ready. be careful when you talk about something like that guys freak easily

ask him if he would like to get married one day soon and then tell him that you would like to get married one day soon. thats how hubby asked me to marry him.
