no modeling conventions are ever going to get you started. they're all scams. never pay money to become a model. if an agency wants you to model for them they'll pay you. the best way to get in the business is send pictures to top model angency websites. or go to the buildings during open call days but usally the buildings are only in big cities like ny or la

but the best ones are

ford models
elite
img
wilhamina
nyc models
... and so on

Contracts!!!!! are easy to get out of Don't ever pay them money!
get pictures from a firend! pick out the best to have blown up to 8X10 for show... be sure you do face shots as well as body ones two kinds of dress ( short dresses and pants) face do both side and front with makeup and without.
make your own portfolio use background of big building in area and outdooor nature shots, vehichle shots work good to cars, boats etc. carry yourself with confidence always!!

good luck with that one, not that u don't have a chance, it's just that you don't live an in area with agencies
most agents are in california, new york, south florida, in that order, if you don't live in that area it makes it really difficult to get into the field
