I had my molar pulled by an oral surgeon but the tooth next to it is decayed as well I feel feverish and the Oral Surgeon wanted me to wait to see if I could save the decayed tooth. But, now if hurts really bad, its swelled and my face is hot. Do I need to go to emergency room for antibiotics?

Yes, or call your doctor NOW! You can get an abscess from an infected tooth and this can be pretty serious. If left untreated it can spread to your neck, back towards your ear, just think of all the very important structures that are in your face near your mouth.

Please call the surgeon or go to the hospital for treatment. Good luck to you

You can but they really only want emergencies especially on holidays. You could wait in the waiting room for 12 or more areas. I would recommend to you to call your doctors office even though they are closed. All doctors have a doctor on call. When you hear the phone ringing on the other side just wait for someone to pick up and tell them you would like to talk with the doctor on call.... You won't have to pay for an ER visit that way!

Call the oral surgeon's office and try to get the oncall physician and see if they can't call in some antibiotics or some pain medicine or both for you. If you can't get anybody, then the ER is the only other out.

Yes. Go to an urgent care if one is available...but if not..definitely go to the e.r.
An infection is not something that can wait. I guarantee you if I were to call my insurance plan's health advice nurse with your symptoms....they would direct me to an urgent care/ or e.r.
good luck

I would go to the ER or to an urgent care before it gets worse.
