the best ones I have had away from home were:
*** in a small bar (2)
*** small coffee shop (3)
criteria: thick, fresh, great taste, good when medium rare ....
do not generally like fast food burgers, in spite of all the extras .....too much grease, burgers too thin to cook rare, feeling of expediency, but they are delicious on a lark, so to speak ....just once in a while ....

Oops...I was gonna' say my house. If I have to make a choice I will say Burger King. They broil instead of frying.
