For a statistics problem, I have to take data that I have computed and turn it into a line graph. I have the Microsoft package, but for some reason it didn't come with Excel. So I have put the data into a chart on Word, but it won't let me take the data and put it into a graph, because it can't link to Excel. Is there any kind of program or anything online that I could use to make a simple line graph? The teacher doesn't want it drawn by hand, and I have about 25 ordered pairs that need to be plotted.

Open office, as the other answerers have cited, is a very popular Office substitute, which is free to download and use. Personally, I don't like it very well. I'd recommend you try both it and GNUmeric to see what you think of them. While Open office is the most popular office substitute, I haven't found it to be the best or most fully featured. If you have time, you might want to look into the great variety of office suites and see which one serves your needs best.
