Do you want to base your religion on what others tell you! peer pressure! then go ahead. and let others decide for you.

If lying for your religion is your cup of tea. I believe you are implying you're a Christian just to show how much you like Islam, your true religion. If so, you don't need to convert. You already are. Good luck to either.

Edit:
Thumbs down. Nice. It just shows. That being a Muslims stands on how there are, not what the religion is all about. Thanks. Think about and you will understand why Muslims keep seeing they are the fastest growing religion on Earth.

You say Christianity has become corrupt, you ask should you convert to Islam.

The answer to your question cannot be given by those on here. There are many religions in this world, many faiths and not all from the stem from Abraham.

Look into your heart, meditate, contemplate, then start studying. Read about them all and go into details for those religions that you want to consider. Once you and your heart are both happy then make your decision.

Islam welcomes everyone just like Christianity, but what you need to find is what you believe in, what you are comfortable with, what will keep your soul happy.

Once you know which that is you will find God and your belief. If that is Islam then Alhamdulillah (الحمد لله), if it is Christianity the God Bless.

Whatever you chose may you find peace.

if you are an honest person and soft hearted then you must accept Islam. Because Islam is the only religion on the face of the earth which is true and there is no doubt in it. If you want to remove your doubts or any misconception regarding the Islam i suggest you can Bible or any other religion too.

Yes, you are right, presently bible is in corrupted form and not in original.

i know what you mean by Christianity being corrupted.i have said this before, and i will say it again. i know so many"Christians" who are total hypocrites. they curse, fight for no reason, and scream.and at the end of the day they say,"i know god will forgive me" and complete the same process again the next day. not all but MANY. I don't think that that Christianity is corrupted, i think people are. you don't have to convert your religion if you don't want to. but if you be live what the Islam religion says, then go ahead.

That's true. Chrtisitianity has become currupt.

About the converting to Islam...do whatever you want, it's your life.
If you decide to convert, though, think it through. Make sure it's what you want to do because in Islam, it's frowned upon to go back and forth between Islam and other religions.

Good luck.

I'm not going to discuss the corruption in Christianity, but I encourage you to consider Islam. If you want, I would be willing to explain anything you want. I've been teaching Islam for a few years. Please follow these links, they might help. The first one comapres between Islam and Christianity in a simple way:
http://english.islamway.com/flashpage.php?id=17&cat=2&file_name=islamvschrist&width=780&hight=400
This is a short book that explains what we (Muslims) believe (about 30 pages):
http://www.islamworld.net/aqeedah.html

So many people have wrong impressions about Islam, the prophet Muhammad, and Qur'an, but you can look into Islam and judge for yourself. Don't look for someone to tell you what to do, but get an idea and follow what your heart guides you to.

I know everybody said to email them if you need, and I also remind you that you can e-mail me if you like. Take care and good luck.

As a Muslim it is my hope and prayer that you do.
But being Dissatisfied with your present faith is not a reason to become a Muslim.
You must Known in your heart Islam is the Truth,
Now is not an easy time to be a Muslim.
If right and left,Christian Jew and Atheist are united in any one thing it is in their hatred of Islam.
It is possible your own family will reject you, You will be called a terrorist,a rag head and and worse.
Is it worth it?
Yes,and the when the round-ups and concentration camps come, and they will come,it will be worth that as well.

I agree that Christianity has become corrupted... but is that a reason to convert to any religion?
Those who convert to Islam need to know what Islam is and agree with it.
If you don't like Christianity for any reason, than study other religions... including Islam.
If you have studied Islam and like what it says than...Welcome!

Get a translation of the Qur'an in your own language and read it. Read a biography of Prophet Muhammad. There are a number of biographies of him which are written by Muslims. If you are in North Anerica (The U.S. or Canada) contact "ISNA" (Islamic Society of North America) about Islam.

I embraced Islam more than twenty years ago. The more I experience in life... the stronger my faith becomes. Before I embraced Islam I had many questions,,,,including questions about Prophet Muhammad. Those questions were answered by reading his biography.

If you have any questions about Islam than please contact me.

You should not look for approval from us, you should follow the truth period. Study the evidence, read, research and make a conclusion.
About the chrisitians who say that we are terrorists and so on, I would like to point the following verse from the quran to you

O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person comes to you with a news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done.

This is what God teaches us to do. Always go and verify information. Furthermore, I would like to say that it is your duty
and every individual's duty to search for the truth.
On the day of judgement, you cannot hold other people
responsible for your mistakes. As god says: " no soul shall bear the sin of another".

Thats a personal decision. I dont think anyone here or anywhere should influence your decision. But from experience, Im Muslim and people who say its an evil religion or connect it to terrorism in anyway need to open a book and shut of the TV. Thats just pure ignorance.Islam is about peaceful, humble teachings and the majority of Muslims reflect that. All Muslims I have met in my life are humble and good hearted people with direction in life. If you read the Quran which I have, you'll know it has a beautiful message behind it. Every non-Muslim I have known who has studied Islam thoroughly has told me how inspiring they think it is, and some have even chose to convert. That has been my some of my experience with being a Muslim. Good luck!
