Electronic flea combs will kill the fleas but they do nothing to the eggs , so the flea problem will not be cured and you will continually have to use the comb. you need to seek advice from your vet as it sounds like you have a serious problem, your dogs must be getting stressed from continually been bitten and I bet you are.

I have expierenced with the comb, it does work, but only lasts for 3 or 4 days. I have never heard of the flea Zapper, but it sounds like something that will not work. Go see a vet, or go to an animal hospital. You should ask for something called Frontline. Frontline is a product that has worked very well and hasn't faild yet. You apply these drops on to your dog's back, and in 1 hour ALL the fleas on your dog, are dead and fall off. The fleas bite into the dog's skin, and they are biting into flea poison, so, all the fleas that bite, die and never come back. Frontline lasts for a good long month or so, and you just apply more when the product wears of in a month. I highly reccomend Frontline. IT WORKS GREAT!

Added; IF frontline didn't work for you.... you have a serious problem, BOMB your house with a flea bomb you buy at the store. That works well, then apply frontline.

I've seen them advertised, and thought they were utterly ridiculous. Don't bother with them!

Stick with your Frontline Plus and Program - don't buy it online though, people often say they've used it with no success when they've bought it online, there are a lot of bogus products there.

4 things to do to get rid of fleas:
1) Make sure the Frontline gets completely on th skin, not on the animal's fur, or it can't work.
2) Program only sterilises fleas, it's a preventative not a treatment
3) You MUST treat your home - Frontline Plus will stop the environment becoming infested but if fleas are already in the environment (and they will be) it can't kill what's already in the home. Get a proper spray from a vets like Indorex, Acclaim, Staykil or Skoosh.
4) Don't bath the animal 48 hours before or after applying Frontline or it can't work.

Frontline plus will kill all of the fleas but it takes time in the mean time you can use a flea bomb however I would use the one that smokes and not the one that sprays. You need to treat all of the animals in your home with frontline. Cats rats mice all the animals. If one is not treated they will hold all of the fleas.
