I think creation does have a science behind it. Remember that Genesis says "God created man in OUR image and after OUR likeness. Meaning more than one. Take that into account with the other bible verses that say "The fallen angels came upon the daughters of men and found them beautiful and took them unto them as their wives" This was an abomination in the eyes of God and he damned the fallen angels for their iniquity. Check out the Watchers website for more. Also the Chariots of the Gods. As far as where it came from I think probably a mix of both.
