I don't think you should add another one, I'm willing to bet the current residents would attack the newby. Dwarf hamsters are very territorial, and usually solitary, although they can usually be kept together when raised together (as I'm assuming yours have been). If you want another one, I'd suggest getting another cage. If you want to try a female for breeding, I'd still get another cage and only put one of the males in with her, and keep a very close eye on them to make sure they aren't going to fight.

Chinese hamsters can be kept together (the Syrian hamster is solitary and must live on its own).

If you have a pair of Chinese hamsters that are living happily together, whether you could introduce another without fighting would depend to some extent on how old the current two are and how long they have been living together.

If they are young (eg a month or so old) and have not been established as a pair living together for very long (eg a few days or a week or two) then you may be able to introduce another without too much problem.

However, it is risky and there is no guarantee the existing two will accept another companion even if not established as a pair for long.

Often it is better to be safe than sorry, so personally I wouldn't advise risking introducing another to the pair.

I was always of the belief that hamsters were solitary creatures that would always fight unless they were mixed sex and receptive

I had a male and female and they would fight when put together, except when she wanted a bit of attention

Try introducing them on mutual territory first.
