Not likely. Changes are happening very fast. The first organisms to be affected will be indicator species, like corals and some algae. Then species that depend on the indicators for survival along with those intolerant of small temperature changes. Humans have a long history of manipulating thier environments, so humans as a species will likely stay alive BUT in much smaller numbers. On human society as a whole, the only way we will remain on this planet in the long run is to adjust to the changing environment and adjust our way of life. We have to get back to some our roots in nature and begin to see ourselves as interconnected to all things rather than above everything. I am most nervous about what the change in climate will mean for the millions of species we have on this planet. In no way would the warming kill everything, probably not even close. What it does mean is that it will favour those creatures who thrive in the specific altered climate(whatever it may be) and those that can adapt fast enough. Humans will remain alive but severely altered. And you...well you will probably live until you are old and grey. Your children and grandchildren however may face an even more challenging future than we are and their way of life may be completely different. Don't stress yourself out, it will only be bad for your health...just do all you can to combat climate change and create awareness with all the people you know and tell them to do the same, and eventually everyone will be on the same page and we can make some changes.

It's highly unlikely.
Global warming has many negative consequences and some positive ones as well. We know it's already causing certain diseases such as malaria to spread into new regions, the World Health Organisation calculated that the death rate from such is 150,000 additional deaths per year and an additional 10 million people infected. The number is expected to double by 2030 and quadruple by the end of the century.
On top of this there's all the other deaths from heat related conditions, adverse weather and it's consequences etc.
BUT... It's important to keep things in context. The number of deaths from global warming is still far less than the number of people dying in automobile accidents or through many common illnesses and diseases.
Bottom line - global warming will increase your chance of dying early but by such a small amount as to be of little concern. You can enhance your life expectancy far more by eating healthily, exercising, living in the country, avoiding stress and so many other things over which you have control.
Those who need worry most about GW and it's effects are people living in African and Asian countries. Here in the US and Europe we're largely shielded from the effects and can take steps to mitigate many of the consequences.

It's up to you really. Global warming affects people in various ways. Those who are weak and sick are more likely to be affected by severe climate changes due to global warming than those who are strong and healthy. Being strong and healthy can be achieved in two ways. Either you are lucky enough to be born with a good gene set and you are strong/healthy from birth or you have to make yourself so by working out, leading a healthy life style, taking vitamins, etc. If you want to know more try googling it. Another thing you can do take part in "politics". Vote for govt. officials that try to promote programs for reducing the amount of harmful emissions and pollution, recycle your garbage, sign up and take part in various organizations and programs that fight global warming. Unfortunately many people will tell you that there is no such thing as GW, and it's all natural, and that nothing bad will happen. These people only care about money, and they never stop to think about anything else. They know that there will be enough resources, and the climate will be stable enough to sustain them during THEIR lifetime. These people couldn't give less of a damn what happens after they die however. They pay no mind to future generations and the future of this planet. Therefore, there is no reason to listen to those who deny global warming and the harm it brings to our planet.
Just to summarize what I said:
Yes global warming can, and will cause many to die earlier than they might have otherwise, but it is in our power to do something about this, and help ourselves fight the negative effects of GW.

In case of confusion, nobody dies directly from global warming. Some in the third world are rellay suffering indirectly from global warming, end some are dying, The floods across africa and the war in Darfur. A 17 yr old in a western society is unlikely to die indirectly from it, unless you get caught in some flood or storm. However I wouldn't be expecting a comfortable old age.
The other thing to take into account is peak oil, I won't open that debate here, but I would be dishonest not to mention it.

There has constantly been climate replace ; and there constantly would be . it rather is basically yet another trick going around to regulate human beings's lives & tax to the max . * Environmentalists are no longer constantly doing the ideal component for people .

It's possible but here's the problem: there is no distinct evidence to support the idea of global warming so therefore your death could just be labeled a freak act of nature such as being caused by El Nino or La Nina.

If you do not get run over by the people from the Southern Americas migrating to the North to keep cool. We are all going to die sooner or later, I hope you are aware of that. Did you watch Comets of doom on the history channel? It is on again today.

hahaha... you're 17 and you asked this question?... I guess public school hasn't taught you much... oh... sorry... the reason for you to ask this question because of public education...
don't worry... they can't even predict the weather for next week... and you really think they know what will happen hundred of years from now?
since the beginning of the earth, the climate is always changing... and believe me... human wasn't the cause of it....
relax and don't get too excited...
and get ready for the brainwash you will receive in college... if you go to college...

Probably not. The worst effects, if they happen, are centuries in the future. But if we don't do something now, your great-grandchildren may die.
