Ok, so as I said my fiance is getting a tattoo.
From the selcetion we provided to you lovely people yesterday he has narrowed it down to 2. He is definetly getting our sons name (Jonathan) done in Hebrew: שאול המלך
But is debating on 2 other sayings that he wants along with our sons name:
Let them hate as long as they fear
or
Destiny is what you make of it

and if we do have any more kids, he has already said that he will get those tattooed up his wrist as well.

please make your selection: he likes both as do I but he are looking for what others would see as better.Though most people would say why ask complete strangers, it is an example of what others would see in public such as people like yourselves.

thanks

"Destiny is what you make of it" REALLY REALLY nice phrase i like it alot so my vote goes with that one. If i saw someone with that tattoo i would think they were a positive person with determination to get what they want out of life.

If i saw someone with "Let them hate as long as they fear" i'd view them as an anger person that had been hurt and is Flipping the Bird to the world and it's not as positive as "Destiny is what you make of it" .

110% get "Destiny is what you make of it" not the other one.

In my opinion "Destiny is what you make of it" is the best on to put with your sons name- the other quote doesn't seem appropriate to put along wih a child's name.

I think destiny is what you make of it would be best. I really like that one. :) It shows your outlook on things. Plus it will be a bit more fitting next to your sons name.

Isn't against the Talmud to tattoo one's body? Ironic to use Hebrew letters for a tattoo which is forbidden by Jewish law.

Why do you think the Nazis tattooed the Jews in the concentration camps, they knew it violated Jewish Law.

"Destiny is what you make of it"

The other one sounds a little morbid to put alongside your son's name, but that's just my personal opinion.
