You are having a panic attack, it happens commonly. It is when your brain is filled with chemical called cortisol, and it produces the emotions you describe. Sit down, stay calm, and realize it will pass fairly soon. If you can, try and identify the stimulus that caused the condition. If it happens repeatedly, then see your doctor, there are drug treatments that can help you live a normal life.

The panic attacks usually take a day to go away. It's a common reaction. It should be gone by now, because the stuff doesn't stay in your system that long. This means that you are particularly susceptible to anxiety attacks.

You don't have to tell anyone about the brownies, because your symptoms are typical of someone with panic disorder. Panic attacks can be triggered by drinking too much coffee, or sometimes by nothing at all, because they are psychological. Alcohol can help a little bit, but the best cure is Xanax. You should see a doctor so you can get your Xanax. You don't even need to tell your doctor about the marijuana, because panic is a really common psychological disorder, and by this point, with you, there is no longer a connection between the panic and the marijuana.

Incidentally; another poster mentioned that in panic one's brain is filled with cortisol. This is correct. However, you should know that your own body produced the cortisol as a reaction to the panic in an attempt to cure itself from the distress. In other words, the emotion comes first. The cortisol comes afterwards.
