Do you like him or not? Is he doing a good or bad job with the country? Why?

Well, atheists comprise a tiny fraction of the population, yet an overwhelming majority of people don't approve of his handling of, well, just about everything.
Personally, I think he's done a terrible job. The country has lost much of its stature in the world, facts and science have become obsolete, the debt is so ridiculously high it will take decades to recover (if we do at all), partisanship is more rampant now than in recent history, etc, etc, etc, etc......

I'm not an atheist; I'm a Pagan.
I do wish that GW would be the bush that was actually consumed by fire (metaphorically of course - not dead, just gone). Personally, I think he has done more harm to this country than any other enemy we've had.

When he took office, this country was actually on its way to becoming financially secure. He has single-handedly destroyed us financially, probably to the point of being unable to repair it.

This country is not well respected in the world. We are doing the same thing that we fought against the USSR for. We are using military might in an attempt to spread our form of government in the world.

We destroyed a country, and are blaming them for not having control over their people. We have become the bullies of the world.

Really, I think he is the worst thing that has ever happened to this country. He is inept socially, He lacks the necessary intelligence and wisdom to make a good decision. He cares nothing about what the citizens of the country want, and rather than running this country as a democracy, has maintained an 8-year personal empire.

The only good thing about his presidency is that it shall soon end.

I think he is brilliant!
The man graduated from a top flight law school. Made millions of dollars for himself and presents himself as a semi-literate buffoon just to get elected.
While the rest of you were calling him a fool or worse he and his friends took you to the cleaners. Your economy might be in shambles but his certainly is not.
Laugh all you want at Chimpy, but think carefully about who his moves have benefited while he has been in office.
Then come back and tell me who the fools are.

Does this mean I like Bush. Hell no.
He is likely the most deceitful and calculatedly corrupt politicians who has ever held that office.
Review the election rigging that got him into power, both times.
G.W. Bush is no idiot, he is putting on a very good act with all the *Aw Shucks* stuff.
I can hardly wait to see what happens when he leaves office and drops the *cousin Wilbur straw hat schtick*

--------------
Powzer come very close when he mentions the fact that everything Bush has done furthered a hidden agenda.
The only shame is that agenda was never actually hidden. It was just never publicly discussed a whole lot.
One of his very first campaign promises was that he would secure America's oil reserves. Well guess what you guys are doing in the Middle East right now.

I will say it again. Where Slick Willy smiled his slow southern smile and made you feel good while your country bombed Sarajevo, Bush fumbled and bumbled while your country invaded and occupied Iraq.
In both cases your attention was distracted while they did what they felt had to be done.
---------
Now, is he doing a good job or bad?
That will depend on whether the huge gamble in this Middle East venture pays off.
It also depends on whether it triggers a war with China and India with the chance of the Soviets siding with them.
Your Republicans have pretty well succeeded in alienating Turkey as an ally. Relations with them are at the point that Turkey recalled their ambassador and cancelled all their diplomatic missions to USA.
(Turkey has the second largest army in NATO and your forces rely on Turkish military bases to function, airstrips that USA is now denied access to.)
There is a risk that all of this might collapse into a world war like was caused by similar manouvers 60 years ago from Hitlers Germany. The similarities are alarming.

Without using the religious terminology of EVIL, he is a terrible president and has dragged this country down with him. I can't just blame him (but I do), the whole Conservative party did it along with him. He has all but destroyed the middle class in this country....which is the plan of the New World Order. Soon there will only be rich and poor people. Out-sourcing and the Global Economy will only help the rich here in this country. Sending those jobs to third world countries will only exploit their workers, give us inferior products since there are less guidelines for quality, materials and environmental issues, and the manufacturing base for jobs in this country will (and has) disappeared. I know...I'm living it. Most of the jobs in my state have disappeared. I could go on indefinitely about Bush...but my answer is no, I do not like him, I do not trust him and everyone who did trust him are sorry now.

I do not provide a rat's patootie approximately "righteous," cupcake, however I did the whole lot I would to make certain that Bush wasn't elected both time. Not my fault that their lies - and the Supreme Court - carried the day. However, simply FYI, cupcake, however atheist =/= liberal. Hey, only a rhetorical query, however did all people get an electronic mail from this dimwit asking a few dumb-azz loopy query approximately Bush and Gore and Kerry?

I am an atheist. It matters little if I like him or not. If he were a competent leader, I would support him. However, I do not think he is doing a good job leading the country.

I'm sure George is doing the best he can, more's the pity.

He's a rather mediocre person in a position that challenges him beyond his capacity. As a result, he becomes rigid and inflexible and tends to surround himself with people who will "rubber-stamp" his opinions.

He's unthoughtful, he's unreflective, he has no concept of the world beyond his little ring of perception, he is embarassing this nation.

I actually wonder what Christians think of him. If I where a Christian, I'd be insulted at the way he uses Chrisitanity to support his idiot self.

I don't think he has a clue....and is nothing more than a puppet for the Conservative Christian Lobbyists.

He wants this nation to become a theocratic dictatorship, and himself to be the dictator...he's already stated this....

His 8 year presidency will go down as "The Black 8".

And people actually voted him in TWICE???? WTH were you thinking??????????????
