Glad to see, some of you guys got it.

I thought I'd be stuck with the usual bible-nuts (no offence to any of the bible-nuts).

And Thatguy - I mean immovable as in totally immovable.

Gandalf Parker - Assuming that God was powerful enough to freeze/contain/ energy forever, and thus make the object/particle/wave immovable. No..not a standing wave, or not through quantum tunneling. Just a frozen wave/particle/object.

Yes. That object is called a "Atheist".

Meaning that if its immovable then he cant move it therefore he would not be all-powerful?

Sorry. According to quantum mechanics the answer is yes. He can create an immovalbe object. But if he ever needed to move it then he could convert it to energy, move it, then recreate it as an immovable object. The key word is "object". As long as its an object then it can be immovable.

The next question is of course about an unstoppable force. But the same answer applies. Yes but he could make an object out of it if he needed to make changes.

Absolutely. My brother hasn't gotten a job for three years, now. He plays on the computer with Yahoo Q and A and provokes Christians to insanity.

OOOO a logical paradox! Well that would prove that he wasn't all powerful if he couldn't move it. Of course could a god that wasn't all powerful make such an object?

since God is understood as being omnipotent, He could create this object, then limit His own omnipotence for a set amount of time, thus being unable to move the object for that amount of time.

In my belief yes. Simply because I believe God is capable of anything.

If 'he' could then 'he' wouldn't be omnipotent now would he? That's a common paradox.
