Why Do Women Cheat ?

A friend of my girlfriends cheated on her husband. My girlfriend told me a long time ago about this. Recently I caught my G/F provacativly chatting online and showing on webcam with other men. I told my G/F that I was hurt by her getting on webcam with other men and provactivly playing. She told me that they were not real people. When all this came up I asked her about her friend that cheated on her husband - and i questioned her on how she thought all that ended up happening. She told me that her friend had told her hubby that she had cheated on him and that they had worked through it. This is her best friend and i never heard anything about anything as far as her friend 'comming clean'. Now Im concerned that there is a lot of devious things going on around me and I am scared of what may come in the future. What do i do ?

They are not real people? They could be down the street. Maybe she has desires towards table dancing, I can't imagine doing anything like that online. Of course its not correct behavior and not what you want in a woman. She may be the opposite sex but she's no lady.

You can do better she is just a girlfriend now, so why hang on to someone who is not equal to your social ethics, you should look for someone who you can look up to and be proud of and love unconditionaly, this girl just doesn't sound like she is doing this for you and you will do the same for her whoever she is by the way. It will be like you always knew each other and were searching and at last you have found her. Don't settle it really is worth the wait. By the way men cheat too. Its sad that people can't be honest especially emotionaly with one another. Good luck

As I am sure there is an answer before me, but never-the-less, "why do men cheat"?

Its because they aren't getting all they need from a relationship. In some cases, what they need from a relationship isn't reasonable (or even possible).

Though generally both genders have a different style of cheating, the reasons generally end up being remarkably similar.

Women are just weird sometimes they'll fall in love with you for 2 years or maybe even 3 or 4 and then another man that's maybe more handsome than u are will come along and she'll just go get his number even if she's married girls always want the best, hottest, and buffest men and they change their minds a lot with men one morning she'll love you and the next she'll say your not right for her!! I think you should sit down with her and say that u love her and if she loved u she would stop chatting and doing the webca thing with other men real or not just say that you'd die if she ever even got close to cheating on you and then just get up!! 10 points for best answer!!??!!??!!

I say u start questioning her a bit more... cant let ya girl stray away into cyber world or she'll meet some guy that will catch her, and will become more than a "friendly" encounter. Ya cant tell her wat she can or annot do as well. Try to do it little by little.

Start by telling her that the webcam thing is taking it too far... U can even be sweet about it and tell her u dont want all those men seeing all ur beauty, lol.

Men and women cheat...cheaters are selfish people who put their desires ahead of anyone else's feelings. They aren't mature enough to end a relationship before moving on to "play" with someone else, and they often use revenge, lack of intimacy in their relationship, alcohol, or other excuses to justify their behavior.

As for you worrying about the future, what's the point? Deal with what's real and happening, and try to avert anything negative in the future (don't just sit and worry about it). You either trust your girl or you do not...if you do not, then why stay with her?

I believe women cheat when they need affection, not necessarily love. Once I reached 40, I realized what true love and respect are, and I would never cheat. You are good at communicating with her it seems, keep talking and exploring each of your needs and dicsover what you can both do to keep your relationship growing and healthy. Do you have the same goals? Do you both feel like you are heard? Be loving and calm when you discuss things that are sensitive and make you feel vulnerable.

People cheat because they are not getting completely fulfilled. There is something missing and they seek it from someone else. Trust is a big deal, if you can't trust your gf, you need to move on. She's probably sexy and needs more attention from you. Since she isn't getting that from you, she gets it from the cam people. Don't worry about her best friend. Worry about your relationship. I think you mean why do SOME women cheat?Not all women do as not do all men....I think to be honest there are more temptations these days and opportunities for both sexes to be unfaithful.
My advice?Look after your missus...cos if you dont someone else will be just around the corner to whisk her away!
