Don't you all worry about your Karma?

I know a few people that give every answer "thumbs down" but their own. That way when they vote for the best answer, they always know which one is there's. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Well if a person gives a silly answer or a rude answer they deserve a thumbs down. I see some very good and I do man good answers being given thumbs down. Yahoo doesn't take away points for the thumbs down but I wish they would do away with the thumbs down.

Yes I worry about my karma and about the karma of those who thumb-down innocent answers given in good faith.

Because more answers deserve a thumbs down. Giving a reasonable reaction to a poor answer will have no effect on your Karma. other than to enhance it.

This has been going on for well over a year. There are a few who think its funny to thumbs down everything. Eventually, they get bored and a new crop of thumbs downers come along.

To tell you the truth I wish they wold do away with the thumbs down. I have seen many good answers given the mean old thumbs down. People need to just pass over to a question they like. I have given thumbs down to mean,spiteful, hurtful, mocking, hateful,answers myself. I have never ever given a good answer a thumbs down.
If non-believers don't like the answers then they should go to another site with an interest they do like.

I seen on the computer yesterday that people were bragging how they love to give thumbs down to R+S AND JUST TO DO IT TO BE MEAN IS STUPID.ii THINK THEY HAVE GREAT PEOPLE ON HERE AND AND IF THEY DON;T AGREE WITH THE SITE; GO TO ANOTHER.your RIGHT THOUGH; KARMA WILL GET THEM ALL HOPEFULLY.,.,

Ebert & Roeper are in series renewal negotiations with Disney. As a bargaining chip, they have stopped using their patented "Thumbs Up" TM until the negotiations are finalized.

I don't advocate thumbs down but doubt they seriously harm the trolls who use them. It is nice thought though that what they send out will come back to bite them.

People seem to not care. i guess it's a maturity issue. People say whatever they want too people because they don't know the person. Some people are cruel natured. Some people were treated cruel and use their nickname to hide themselves to get back at people. And some just say anything to people because of the things they ask or say...Let's be real some of it is ridiculous.
