Please can someone help me. My dreams are so vivid that when i wake up i'm exhausted. The dreams are terrible nightmares, they seem to know exactly what to do to get me panicked.

I feel like i dream all night long without stopping so when i wake up i am mentally exhausted.

I dream about people i have lost, people who have been cruel to me, losing others. Some times of death and apocalypse.

Can someone offer me advice?

I am currently on citalopram for depression, and don't eat spicy or unusual foods before bed, or at all really.

I know where you are coming from I have the same when I have a lot on my mind and I'm stressed out. I wake up more tired than I went to bed. Try not to be too worried (know that's hard), Just lots of stuff on your mind that is stored subconsciously. I would suggest try to unwind more if possible and relax. I sure if you can do that all will be normal.
All the best.

You could go to a university sleep center for a sleep study to be done.

Here is a link to clinical trials. Just put in nightmares or sleep disorders and see what you get. Then hit the map button for local trials and don't forget to turn the pages.

It's not unusally to have so many dreams evry night, but the fact that they are all bad is a sign. An evil entity is trying to do something or contact you. Please avoid. Pray before sleep. Turn you dreams into good ones.

You need to start eating properly, hon.

Are you talking with a therapist? Perhaps you have a little post traumatic stress? Maybe a therapist could give you good help and you could learn some coping skills.

Have you thought about writing the dreams down? Might help pinpoint why this is happening.
