I don't understand what's not to trust. People travel all the time and can work anywhere in the world. I live in both UK and US, have multi-citizenship including Southern Africa. So I can be anywhere I want at anytime and I'd probably tell you the same thing, that doesn't mean anything really. Ask them specific questions to know what you really are looking for. If you received an email promising you that you have some money in this bank, it is a scam. It is called an "Advance Fee Scam" or "Nigerian 419 Scam". DO NOT send them any money.

I am from the UK based in Essex.
I wont say you can trust people from here because everyones entitled to believe what they want and trust who they want.
