Not all crimes can be solved with fingerprinting. It sounds like you are saying all crimes should be punished, however small they may be? Does that include any of the crimes that you may commit, even accidentally, or without knowing it?
I definitely don't want my children to think that fingerprinting, under any guise, is the norm. Or that treating all children like criminals is acceptable.
Perhaps if we just set the walls of our prison at the borders of our country that might solve the crime problem we have?

I watched a application many years in the past showing six addicts, 3 elderly seventy 2 fifty 4 and 22 that they had all had significant surgical treatment and received their fixes from the healthcare specialist value 12p each and every to the N.H.S. the different 3 17, 28 35 one had an arm amputated because there become too a lot sand contained in the blend, one become serving an 8 365 days reformatory sentence because he had injured someone so badly in a robbery, the different a shoplifter with psychological health subject matters with the aid of his dependancy. it can make sense to provide type a medicine to addicts. the turn away might want to be, what might want to the drug sellers do to get money, i won't be able to verify them as being employable so might want to they arise with another ask your self drug. the alternative Methadone it really is prescribed is more suitable addictive than Heroin and more suitable expensive to the N.H.S. Makes one ask your self why the authorities don't have targeted centres to provide drugs to those who're addicts, it would want to diminish an excellent style of the crime and N.H.S value !!!!

I like the idea. To all the hippies that have already answered that this is too extreme what if your son or daughter was kidnapped by a known sex offender (which because of your type gets out of the clink in a few years when they should be instead fried)? That could help get your child back. Wouldn't that be worth your fingerprint and DNA being on file somewhere. You are exactly what is wrong with this country. Wake up.

Hey what a swell idea !
Cataloged from day one in the global archive of humanity.
Just one question. What happens when they grow up and speak out against tyranny and such talk becomes illegal? Then your well intended action turns deadly against your own child.
You should never trust any government to such an extent. They all gravitate toward tyranny. The injustice in this nation is quickly getting out of control. The media refuses to cover it so most Americans are not yet aware of what is going on.
Have you never read Orwell's 1984? It is becoming reality very quickly.
There will always be both crime and tyranny. If your child is living a just life there is no need for being cataloged like a stray pet. Respect your children. They have their own lives to live.

Mandatory fingerprinting then mandatory DNA sampling will be next. Do you really want to head down that road?

While it would make solving crimes somewhat easier-it also would infringe on the right to privacy-I for one do not want to give up any liberties under the guise of being safer.

Just go ahead and implant chips in every person at birth so the government can monitor each and every person every second of everyday. They could even prevent crime this way.

That has always been my position, and while they are at it, they could also get their DNA. Crimes would be so much more easily solved.
Each person should also carry an identification card with them at all times. If you don't have anything to worry about, then you need not be.
I am going to give a star.

fingerprints don't fully develop or appear until you are 3 years old or so. the dna idea isn't bad, but you will have people screaming about violation of their rights...blah blah blah.

It's already being done. Only on a volunteer basis right now. check with your local authority's. Won't be long and it will be mandatory. I'm not sure if I agree with this.
