why its a big deal to have sex before marriage i mean come on why we the christians have to obey these rules and if not we are not christians anymore!!!! and why if we have sex before marriage its a sin and other beliefs its not !!! i mean we think having sex before marriage will burn us in hell and come on the wold has a lot of bigger problemmsss!!

well, first of all, premarital sex is not a mortal sin so you(if you have plans) would not be automatically be fried on hell.
second, if you don't wanto to obey on this rubbish, then don't! no ones forcing you too(maybe).
third, you can always have a cofession settled if you have done an act like this.
another is(this is the part i'll explain to you why):
the church believes that sex is a sacred act that a married couple (consists of only one male and only one female) does.
there are three condtions that church considers in order for a couple to do sex in the HOOOOOly way:
1. the couple shall be married
2. they are doing this for the sake of procreation
3. that no one should be involved when doing this
any of the three factors missing would be considered as sin.

Look at the questions on yahoo dating and singles.There are so many girls getting used for sex and emotionally scarred, the pregnancy issues the welfare mothers raising kids with no fathers it is part of the problem in this country that is why it is wrong.Mothers with 5 kids by 5 different men and none of them involved in their lives, then the kids being molested by their mothers b/f's later on.Then there is sexually transmitted diseases.People KNOW what condoms are I knew at the age of 10-11.Most people just do not WANT TO USE THEM, it is NOT that they do not KNOW about them and ALL birth control HAS A FAILURE RATE.
There are MILLIONS of young girls who get pregnant and run to the welfare office to get started on welfare so they can live off free money taken out our paychecks to support them while they make more babies with dead beats.
THESE are BIG PROBLEMS in our nation because those kids grow up in dysfunctional homes because of sex outside of marriage.Isnt it funny most girls end up pregnant before they realize the guy they made ababay with is a creep?
Isnt it funny most guys wait until their g/f is pregnant before dumping them?You dont see these things on TV unless it is in a male bashing movie on lifetime or oxygen.
It IS abig problem though.The fact Christianity teaches sex outside of a committment of marriage is wrong protects society from these problems IF followed, if NOT followed then you have the problems you have now.

It was once a socially relevant idea but has no relevance now.Sex is like any other human need and has nothing to do with any religion what so ever.However,it's not a problem even with Christians as the provision of a 'confession' keeps them sin free(any number of times).

There is no sin in sex, only conseuence. Sex brings the risk (or hope) of having children. Children need a mommy and daddy. That mommy and daddy should be committed to raising them (Whether married or not) and need to be there. In other words, unless you use a lot of protection and are still willing to accept the consequences if something happenes, don't do it.

1st of all premarital sex is a sin..It is a forgivable sin..now the reason its a sin is it was not put here for us to have fun with..we was required to get married and mulitiply we only have the sex organs to make babies thats they purpose God gave it to us..now to just go out and have sex with this one and that one outside of wed lock is wrong..so we should be married then only have sex and only have eyes for our spouse..it is adultry to look at another person other than your spouse with lust in your eyes..so we can only have eyes for our spouse...

The reason God don't want us to have sex before marriage is because it it harmful. Don't ask me why, it just is.
What's wrong with murder? Because it hurts people? So what. What's wrong with that?

Sex with one partner can cause STDs, you dont know where he/she has been
Fornication is a sin
God has convict us of our sins, if you know that fornication is a sin then why do it.
