I do belive in God's power to heal. That being said, I too often question the fact that the only healings I see are on TV by a cheezy acting guy dressed in a cheezy suit that can summon the power of God at will ,but only while he is in front of a camera.

I think it is not of God. God doesn't use that any more to show himself, I think prayer works, but i think that what they do is too much like a prophet and there aren't anymore phrophets.also, in the Bible, God sent the Holy Spirit to the disciples after Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead. They were the last men to preform miracles, God sent the Holy Spirit over them to spread the Gospel....He doesn't do that now...I would never let one of those men on TV touch me. I don't believe they are of God.

Some seem to be rather worldly with hype and glitz, the true healers are probably more subdued, I'd think. Healing is healing though, and some have the gift. Praise God!

I find most of the TV televangelist not only non scriptural but total hoaxes. They sully the name of good ministers everywhere. I can see why so many people have no idea of what the Bible really says, and why they have no idea of what Christians really believe.

PHONIES.... !
Or did you miss this Real Biblical Healing.....?
(Acts 3:1-to-9) Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
(Act 3:2) And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
(Act 3:3) Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
(Act 3:4) And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
(Act 3:5) And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
(Act 3:6) Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
(Act 3:7) And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
(Act 3:8) And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
(Act 3:9) And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

Never seen it myself, I think it is possible, but I think much of it may be faked. I don't think a real miracle worker will want to be on tv doing all the miracles, they would want to remain somewhat anonymous. Besides, it is God who does the miracles.
