Don't worry, when your Ferret moults and it's new feathers come in, it will be gone. Don't forget to have his wings clipped and take him for his yearly "Good Bird Check-Up" !
....This is the Pet "Birds" category, is it not???

i would say very carefully, with warm soap and water, make sure the soap is all washed out the fur properly and watch your hands, nothing is more painful than a grumpy ferret bite, my dad used to keep them, and it is not nice when they bite. by the way how on earth did the ferret get covered in treacle?

I bathe my ferrets in ferret shampoo, its brilliant and Im sure it would get rid of treacle, they generally love a bath so it shouldnt bother him/her at all.

Since treacle is basically a type of sugar syrup, you should be able to get it off by sponging it with warm water. Gently does it.
