In 1998, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed that frozen fruits and vegetables provide the same essential nutrients and health benefits as fresh. It's no wonder. Frozen fruits and vegetables are nothing more than fresh fruits and vegetables that have been blanched (cooked for a short time in boiling water or steamed) and frozen within hours of being picked. Further, frozen fruits and vegetables are processed at their peak in terms of freshness and nutrition.

Okay I did a project on this and am a hundred percent sure on what I am about to tell you ...fresh and frozen might have the same or even more nutrients than fresh ...but some of the vitamins in canned veggies aren't needed in our body's and unnatural ...but sometimes veggies are better canned or frozen ...so buy all three which ever is easier ..if you don't have time to go to the grocery store just by lots of canned veggies ...and by the way canned fruits contain lots of fatty syrup so watch out on that .

Believe it or not, frozen can be healthier than fresh because they're frozen right away and don't lose any nutrients by sitting out after being picked. Canned has added sodium, less fiber, and, with the exception of possibly beets and chickpeas, taste nothing like the fresh or frozen vegetable.

Frozen veggies have just as much nutrients as fresh veggies. It is an old-wives-tale that they are not. Now canned veggies are a whole other story. Distributors tend to put way too much salt (Sodium) and other chemicals in it to preserve them, so they stay on the shelf longer. I just can't figure out WHERE people think the nutrients go when you freeze things; do they think they just disappear?! Hope this helps...

Fresh is the best. To make up for the quickness it takes to rought though, I have a garden
(I live on a farm, but if farming is not available I guess frozen would be better. Canned food is horrible even though it tastes better)

Hey there I choose Health over Wealth any given day. What is the point being so rich and your illness is incurable and you suffer until you perish. Your friends and family suffer along with you even if you mention to them do not worry about me I am going to a better place. The loss of someone that you care about is devasting no matter what, One more thing Wealth could not return your life. A healthy diet and exercise is the key ingredient to longevity, but unfortunately some people are unaware that they have an underlying issue example one The Late Great Davey Jones , who exercised ate healthy and the other 3 were about to have a reunion until is untimely demise.

Well fresh is usually better but sometimes like with canned fruit there are more nutrients in the canned since you don't know how long the fresh has been sitting there.

I would say frozen veggies and fruits are just as good but in canned goods you have either alot of salt in the veggies or too much sugar and its also helpful to read the nutriton labal espesially if you have high blood pressure or are a dietbetic.

Just eat more of the frozen/canned version to make up for it.
