It sounds like maybe you were greiving the loss of this relationship - which many times includes depression. It is possible to recover from a hard time without support - just keep an eye on yourself, if you feel like you're slipping back into it, try to seek a counselor. Otherwise, ENJOY your newfound happiness and freedom!

Hello Survivor! I call you that because it is possible, but the worst thing in life that you can or 'have to' do. I used to think that whoever is upstairs was really being awful when 'depression and mental illnesses' were created. I have gone through all of that which you explained and much more.
It is said that you will never receive more on your plate than you can handle and I am certain that I either carry a turkey platter or God thinks I am 'Wonder Woman'. I was really ticked off about it for quite awhile.
Give yourself a pat on the back and tell yourself that you are a very strong person, with maybe a little scar tissue on your heart. We never truly heal from the hurtful things that others can do to us, but hopefully learn from them and hope that we are smart enough not to make the same mistakes.
It have five and a half years since my heart was shattered in more ways thinkable by a human being and I finally new I was on the mend when I could tell my story without stopping to cry my eyes out at the worst parts.
But I know it is important to tell the story because that is the only way I will heal... by sharing and not stuffing all the pain inside. That is the most destructive way to deal with tragedies.
I hope this helps you... feel free to e-mail me if you need +1 for the non-existant support system you have. You truly have touched my heart knowing that I am not alone.

i do no longer understand what you advise by employing "too plenty counseling". of course you may get better without counseling or meds. you already comprehend the answer to that. The question is: Why the hell do you choose to? do exactly no longer choose any help? Why no longer? waiting for a medal for paying for by a crappy time on your existence by employing "toughing it out"? Do you think of it is going to make you a extra useful person or something? Are you apprehensive approximately what human beings think of? provide me a injury. in case you choose to be depressing for a plenty longer time than you ought to be then you certainly decide for it. I in simple terms don't comprehend why you may choose to. enable me additionally ask you this: in case you're incredibly depressed could understand something outstanding walking into your existence besides? do no longer you think of you ought to make your self entire returned in the previous you may commence the positivity on your existence to commence flowing as quickly as extra? Or do you think of happiness is in simple terms going to fall from the heavens?

People can spontaneously recover from depression but be careful that this is not a temporary state. If you feel yourself getting depressed again, you should seek some medication or counseling.
