For the last month and a half my mom and me have been feeding a mother cat and her two kittens. We're about 99.99999% sure the mother cat was once a house cat because she knows exactly how to use a litter box and shes not afraid of us at all. Yesterday we got them to come in our house by leading them in with food and than shut the door. They spazzed, but I knew that would happen. We took them to the vet, got all their fleas removed, and got the mom her rabies shots. The vet said their only about 9 weeks old. My question here is, how do we gain trust from the kittens, their both terrified, and one will hiss even if you look at her. The mom has no problem with us touching her or her babies and is the sweetest cat ever.

We're trying to gain trust from them so we can give them to good homes. Any suggestions on how to get them to trust us?

Please don't give your cats canned tuna, ever... it can be very bad for them... try canned cat food instead. it's cheaper anyway.

You will probably have to let the kittens come to you... pick them up when you can, though, and perhaps get some interactive toys (like a feather on a stick, for example). they might find the toys interesting and play.

i hope it works out...

hi I do fostering for cat protection as quickly through fact the kittens are sufficiently previous get them remote from the mummy, Do you have a kitten pen which you would be able to placed them in, or a spare mattress room or room, ensure you cope with them on a usual foundation, you may tame them and that they often substitute into wonderful pets attempt them on cat treats the whiskas ones are fairly good. cope with them as in lots of circumstances as conceivable stroke them whilst they are ingesting that way they are ingesting yet you're giving them human touch. good success.,

A lot of patients, sit their food close to where you sit the most, so they have to be close to you. Buy some cheap tuna fish, and use it to coax them to come to you. other than that just ignore them the rest of the time and their curiosity will get the better of them every time.
