You don't need a shot, you need to have cleaned the bite out and then put some antibiotic cream on the bite and a bandage but you don't need any shots or anything. If I had a shot everytime a puppy put a bite mark on me, I would spring a leak when I drank water.

No, you will be fine. Don't listen to people who are not making any sense. What on earth would YOU need a shot for?
Rabies is a VERY rare disease people. This pup does not have rabies. I can say that with 99.9% certainty. It's a huge scare that perpetuates for years but I am here to tell you it is not lurking on peoples door steps as people seem to think it is. There has NEVER been a case a rabies in my county until last year. I mean never in history but yet every animal has been getting innoculated for it for years. It's just not everywhere and domestic pets RARELY get rabies and I mean RARELY! maybe one or 2 a year in the whole country! Millions and millions of pets and one or two a year.. it's just not happening. Don't worry.
And by the way... The last known case of rabies in a doemestic dog was in 2004 and guess what.. it was CAUSED by the vaccine itself which resulted in thousands of vaccines being recalled.

As long as your dog has had its rabies shot you should be fine... if you're concerned call your doctor. The only time you typically need to get a shot if you get a dog bite is if it's a random dog... because you don't know if the dog is carrying rabies, or some other disease, but if your dog is up to date on his shots then there is really nothing to worry about.

No.
He got his shots, so he is ok.
The problem is when you get bit by a strange dog and either the dog was a stray or alone (no way to contact the owner to get proof of rabies vaccination) or the owner was with the dog and did not have the proof of the vaccination.

If your dog hasn't had a rabies shot, AND has been outside alone for a while, then yes, you should go to the doctor. If he has had one, then you're going to be fine.
If the puncture is deep and cannot be flushed out, then yes you should go to the doctor.
If the bite is simply like the dog teething on your hand and made a scratch or puncture, then wash it out with soap and water, alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide, apply a little antiseptic cream and cover with a bandage. You'll be fine.

At 4 months old, you should be OK, keep it clean and put neosporin on it. People are worried about rabies, but dogs don't even get vaccinated for rabies until they're at least 4 months old. If you're really concerned, talk with your doctor and your vet.

If shots are up to date, treat it as any wound (disinfect it, keep it clean and dry etc.) but also keep an eye on it as you may be more likely to get an infection from an animal bite. You really should be okay:)
On a side note you may find this book useful,

Just put some polysporin on it and keep an eye on it for any signs of infection, but since your puppy had his shots there should not be any problem
