so i get these pimples on my nose i usually get one on the tip and i just got too big ones on the sides recently. I have also started getting them on my forehead in the hair region since i got bangs cut into them but my nose is the biggest problem area. I always wash my face but i usually just put cover up on them when i get them , i know it's not a good thing to do but they are so disgusting and it was only temporary until i got rid of them. do you know any creams that would help me? and i know it's not because I eat bad. My dad had very bad skin when he was a kid too . what would be the best face wash/creams to use? PLEASE HELP!

Everyone's skin is different and responds to different things so what helps one person may not help you. Your oil glands are producing producing oil that is mixing with dirt or makeup and clogging the pores. You need a cleanser with Salicylic acid in it. Our son found that Avon's Clearskin Purifying Gel Cleanser worked the best for him. He used it morning, right after school, and before bed. He also got an overnight treatment from Avon for spot treatment.

A friend of our son's took Clearasil (sp?) pads to school and went in the bathroom during breaks and wiped her face with it. Other kids had such a problem that they got a prescription from their family doctor for RetinA (I believe that is what it is called). Just looked it up and it is Retin-A Micro. See this link http://www.retinamicro.com/. Ask your doctor if he will prescribe it for you. You don't want scars from those things!

Stay away from chemical creams, they actually cause more problems than they solve.

The main ingredient in Proactiv is benzoyl peroxide. It works by stripping your skin of every living cell - including YOUR skin cells. Benzoyl peroxide is also used to promote skin cancer in a number of lab animals so they can be used to test skin cancer treatments. Avoid the chemical burn and risks of skin cancer...

Try this for your nose...
Wash with a natural soap. Wipe the normally pimply areas with witch hazel to kill the bacteria associated with acne without destroying your skin.

Warm (almost hot) tea bag compresses should help to draw some of the fluid out of the pimples, helping them heal sooner and keep them from getting worse.

Keep the make-up to a minimum, if you aren't going anywhere, don't put any on. It just clogs the pores and creates more problems.

I had the same problem as you, maybe even a bigger one,l but my mom took me to the dermotologist and they used a lazor to lessen the redness and then they did all different kinds of treatments so that should help. Try also to get a facial every two weeks, it really helps!
