I would be careful. I turn my hair into hay from going black/blue to brown. Thats why my hair is short now, I had to wait a year then cut it off to get the dead out. I was told to wait till the black fadded. But I didn't. I was also told never to dye my hair black LOL. Well good luck try to wait as long as you can. Use lots of Vo5 hot oil after you did it.

if the black doesnt look bad or if you can get away with pony tails for a while i would give you hair a break. i would wait atleast a couple of weeks and try gradually lightening it. the best would be going to a professional. but if you dont have the money and your stubburn like me i would wait a couple of weeks and try a lighter brown shade and repeat every few weeks until you get it the color you like. the color will damage you hair a ton so be sure your getting your ends trimmed and your using a good shampoo.

I think it would really damage your hair. Maybe you could grow your hair out? and slowly dye it brown from your roots and then cut off the excess black when it grows to the length you want?

Think you should go to a professional if you want it out now. Otherwisw let it grow out! You can really damage your hair by stripping the color out and then there is no fixing it.
