the funny thing about fire is sometimes it creates an everything on fire effect. im gonna guess and say this is film. if its not...you have a great camera. it controls the straight up light beam that often appears on digital.

i find myself looking for the person who started the fire. i know you took the pic and so you were there...but none the less.
i would try to color balance the image. it seems to red. but i am not a fire taking picture person...unless its black and white...so it may just be the correct color, but id look at it none the less.
try cropping in on the composition. i find myself looking in the the darkness on the sides of the building. if you crop it in...it will contain the image (all pun intended). it will also lighten the pic and make the words more prominent.

good job. interesting pic to look at. you could make an entire project with images like this.
have you ever seen the images of old trible fires near a rock wall and the fire is lighting the wall? this could be a modern day version of that.

I would straighten this. It would be excellent if the verticals were vertical. The color looks perfect for fire.
