Some people see spirits or ghosts of their love ones after their love ones died. How is this possible?

The apostles saw Jesus before he ascended to Heaven.
John 20:27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

Many people see their loved ones doing things around the house just like they did before their body died. Some talk with their loved ones after death. We know we are surrounded by spirits and angels all of the time. How is this possible if a person's soul goes immediately to Heaven after they die?

Luke 23:42 The thief on a cross said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” 43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”Even on the Cross, Jesus says, "Father, into thy hands I commit my Spirit".

Is there any other mention in God's Word, after Jesus died for our sins and arose from dead, of people seeing their loved ones after their body has died but they have not yet gone to Heaven?

The come from the legions of angels created by God, and who rebelled against God long before mankind was created, and were thrown out of Heaven with satan, their leader. Yes, they are still present on earth now. Dead humans cannot live as devils or unclean spirits, but many people are evil and sinful, and do bad things to others. This does not mean they are filled with unclean spirits, but it is possible to be true.

Once the spirit leaves the body, time has no meaning. If a departed sould has strong ties to somebody or something, it is possible that they are so concerned about that person that they just want to be with them.

I have heard that the "veil" between the dead and us is clearest between the hours of 3am-4am.

If a husband leaves a wife, or a father leaves a child, I am sure that there will be opportunities for the departed to visit the living and keep track of how thier lives are going.

Because time is a non-issue they remain close to us.

If not actually "seeing" them...they may appear in your dreams, or come to you in thought.

I believe in an afterlife, a loving god, an an opportunity for the soul to progress in life and death. I feel that we are actually "in school" while on earth, so our soul will become stronger by whichever lessons it chooses to learn.

The Bible says it is not possible.

(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

If anything is seen or experienced, it is caused by demons, not spiritual parts of dead people that have survived death.

Jesus was not a spirit when his disciples saw him. He was in the flesh.

Here's what I believe. The bible says, "Man is appointed once to die, after death comes judgment". Look at the parable of the rich man and the poor man Lazarus. They were judged immediately then went to Hell and Abraham's bosom/ paradise.

I believe if one is saved they go to heaven either right away or immediately. If they are not then who knows when they go to hell. I believe many ghosts are demons portraying themselves as loved ones. They know things about us. There are NO friendly ghosts.

Good question. The Bible says after we die we have no business left on this planet. When people see, or think they see, their loved ones, it's Satan. There are demonic spirits who will play with our minds into believing what we see are our loved ones.
