Do not use GL-5 rear end oil. That car takes 80w-90 API GL-4 and for the 1.6 liter trans 6 1/8 pints for the 2.0 liter SR 8 1/4 pints. Rear end oil will cause the syncros not to work properly and you cannot rinse it out. You will have to look at lots of places to find GL-4 Manual Transmission oil. Don't listen to the auto parts sales man who says look at this bottle it says compatiable with GL-4 And GL-5 and meets xxx specifications. MTF has very little smell Gear grease has an awfull smell.
