Honda or Toyota. These are well made cars and run for miles and miles. Also, Chrysler has a lifetime warranty on the drive train of all their cars. This is great too!

Go for something small from GM, Ford, or Chrysler. Dodge Neon, Ford Escort, Chevy Cavalier, Pontiac Vibe, Ford Taurus, Dodge Stratus, etc. It depends on how much you have to spend but you'll get more car for your money versus a Japanese import.

Depends how much money you have and what are you going to use it for? I bought a japanese small car for my son as his first car because it was cheap to run. So go for any small Japanese car such as Toyota Corolla or a Nissan March/Micra. If you have heaps of money and can afford to run it then buy something bigger. Big cars are safe. The choice is yours.

definitely a used Toyota of some kind, maybe a Camry. They are very very reliable and you won't be spending your hard earned money on repairs. Just change the oil once in a while. Also great on gas
