I always thought the Holy Ghost was like the Jedi's ''Force''
not an actual person but just the essence of goodness
the Tri-god is kind of a crazy theory

The Greek word is neuter...
"Pneuma," the Greek word translated "Spirit" is neuter. I doubt that any New Testament scholar ever considered the Spirit as female, though it is possible that English translations may have used feminine pronouns for the Spirit at some point.
In the Greek language, EVERY NOUN has some "gender" attached to it. Articles and pronouns also have gender with similar endings. A masculine form does not indicate that the thing described by that word is actually "male."
... My initial reaction to your question was one of shock. That the Spirit has been consistently thought of in neuter terms is common knowledge among Biblical scholars. I searched the entry on "Spirit" in The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology (25 pages at 12 point single spaced type, over 12,000 words) for masculine, feminine, and neuter. None of those words are used.

To expect the Holy Spirit to either have genitalia or an X or Y chromosome is ridiculous. The Holy Spirit transcends gender altogether.
This is a pronoun issue, not an actual gender issue.

where would you get that idea? and how can a spirit that lives in the born again believers have a sex? God doesn't have a sex, the spirit doesn't have a sex, only Jesus did when he walked on earth.
Where in the bible does it mention a sex for the comforter that Jesus sent after his death, resurrection and assent?

Masculine-feminine
Christ-Holy Spirit
Up until a hundred years ago vernacular determined everything by a masculine indicator, even though it was not meant to be literally masculine

Maybe the same crazy politically correct lunatic fringe that claims God is female. When Jesus prayed, he didn't seem confused--addressed God as "Father".
