I heard some where a computer draws about 100 watts. My 42" Plasma does about 4,000 watts Cathode Ray Tube TVs and Computers with them take more power. A comparable LCD Computer can run on battery for 4 hours. This HP uses a 75 watt 120v to 15 volt transformer. DLP television uses about 2,000 watts it uses a very strong white light bulb and just about as much power as a computer to move the little mirrors and a color wheel spinning at 7,200 rpms mirrors shine White light Thur color then it is reflected on the mirror and viewed from front. Liquid Crystal Display is more efficient it is just how it is illuminated.
