Human beings have always worshipped gods. It's primitive. Lightning used to be considered a god. It's a word for something we can't explain.
Get over yourself.

God never made a religion, people did. God simply wants us to love him and love others as we love ourselves and in doing that we can follow all the commandments. I believe he allows different religions to exist for different reasons though. I think people learn different things from different religions and can grow spiritually in certain religions because everyone is at a certain level of spiritual understanding. No religion is perfect but I think they may be needed by many people in order to learn about God.

Your question is problematic - "why does God make us choose".
Because this is one of the few things GOD never does - force us to make a choice.
HE can take away everything I have - but HE will never take away my freedom to make the wrong decision.
If you are struggling with some decision today - pray, read, study, ask a trusted friend - and then considering all options and worst-case scenarios - step out in faith, confident you are a child of God and even if you make a mistake, He will never leave you nor forsake you; He will be there for you, to pick you up, dust you off, and continue on your journey of faith with Him.
Praise the Lord for He is good!

"All religions appear right to you" simply because they are each beautiful in their own unique way.
From my perspective, our religions are like different paths to the same divine Being. Just as a father can have so many names in so many different languages, so also can God be called "Allah", "Yahweh", "Jehovah", "Ram", "Ahura Madza" in so many different religions, too.
To reach the top of the mountain, it is helpful to follow a path. Similarly, to establish a permanent connection with the Divine, it is recommended to adopt a religion.
Choose one that is most comfortable for you. Follow it to the end, and once you have that complete unity with God, you will find that the idea of religion will simply fall away, just as the petals of a flower will drop off of a ripening fruit.

God did not set you up. God asks you to be faithful unto him and that is all God has asked of us. when you read books like the one that a king james of england wrote years ago, you are reading mans feeble account of what he thinks is right and not what God wants for us. the very first page in that stupid book says this is the king james version. it doesn't say this is Gods version. now that is for the so called Christians. as for the others, read all you can and you will find that the laws of that religion are usually the same laws as all the others. have faith in God! try the hindu that is a good one. all rivers flow to the sea( all religions lead to God)

You have answered your own question, that all religions are man made. The believers think that God chose them to be his hit man, Religion is a path to God, how can there be mention of violence, principles of politics, how to attack an enemy, when will people realize that politics and religion dont go together, one gives away with power while the other seeks power.
If God was powerful why did he not destroy the devil, is the devil more powerful than god, and if god is aware of everyact, and each ones destiny and outcome, why does he have a judgement day when he knows how eachone is going to act. Religion is pathological for mankind. It is a disease spreading like AIDS.

God does not make us choose between religions......WE DO!!!..most people choose the religion that FITS their lifestyle and not because it is the best religion among the rest.
God does set us up(if you mean why does God allow things to happen to us)....because HE is testing our FAITH in Him...So, if i were you, i won't blame God for every bad thing that comes...learn to TRUST His will, but also learn What and How to choose by applying what you have learned from your Chosen religion.

God does not make you do anything. You have free will and you have a brain. You are the one who decides what you do. What you believe in your heart is what matters, not the church denomination.
God does not set us up. We set ourselves up. We make decisions and follow them. Some decisions are good, some are bad, but it is our own doing not God's or anyone else's.
God does not ask us to choose. I believe Buddhism, Hindi, Christianity, American Indians, etc. beliefs are all right. They reach the same conclusion, but approach it differently.

God love his people unconditionally, his there to quide us and willing to listen . What ever decisions you made in your life, its not his choice but it's your's.He's just listening to us. Learn to trust him, pray for him if your in the state of confusion. Open your heart and feel his presence so that you may enlightened. It is not wrong to listen to the others practice (preacher) advocacy, but follow what your heart says to you and God will trust in you.
